Real-Time Monitoring

Continuous, multi-vital-sign streaming. Bedside-grade visibility in any environment. From the home to the ambulance.

Use Cases

Continuous care. Anywhere your patients are.

01

Hospital-at-Home programs need continuous visibility for patients who are clinically stable enough to recover outside the hospital, but still require close monitoring. VitalSigns can support this model by streaming ECG and vital-sign data from the home to the care team in real time.

Clinical Value

This use case supports patients who are clinically eligible for hospital-level care at home — as an alternative to inpatient admission or as a bridge immediately following discharge. It is especially relevant for patients requiring cardiac rhythm observation during acute recovery, where the goal is to replace, not just extend, the hospital stay.

02

Remote Patient Monitoring requires more than a device. It needs a complete system that can collect data reliably, transmit it continuously, organize patients at scale, and help clinicians review meaningful changes efficiently.

VitalSigns can support RPM operators by combining a reusable ECG sensor, multi-band gateway, and cloud-based clinical dashboard into one connected monitoring workflow.

Clinical Value

RPM teams can use VitalSigns for patients with known or suspected cardiac conditions and for chronic disease management, reducing dependence on in-person visits. Continuous, complete monitoring data gives physicians the full picture as a patient's condition changes.

03

The transition from ICU, step-down units, or hospital discharge can be a vulnerable period. Patients may no longer require intensive bedside monitoring, but they may still carry a higher risk of rhythm changes, deterioration, or post-treatment complications.

VitalSigns supports this transition by extending monitoring continuity after the patient moves to a lower-acuity setting or returns home.

Clinical Value

This use case covers the specific vulnerability window — typically the first 7–14 days after ICU discharge or a cardiac procedure — when patients no longer need bedside monitoring but remain at elevated risk for rhythm changes or clinical deterioration.

It bridges the gap between intensive care and independent recovery, providing continuity that standard discharge workflows often lack.

04

In emergency care, time and information quality matter. During transport, cardiac conditions can change quickly, and hospitals often need earlier visibility to prepare for incoming patients.

VitalSigns can support emergency and ambulance monitoring by enabling continuous ECG streaming from the patient in transit to a connected clinical platform.

Clinical Value

This use case supports better pre-hospital visibility: the receiving physician can review the live ECG before the patient arrives, and the ambulance-to-hospital handoff runs more smoothly. It can help reduce information gaps between EMS teams and receiving clinicians.
